All our servers run a RAID setup, so if a harddisk was to fail your website would continue unaffected. We replace faulty hardware as soon as possible, but both mail-, FTP-, database. and webtraffic will continue to work in spite of a faulty harddrive. On top of that we create full external backups at least once a day.
